Sampled from tap at 'Damian' at 5.8% abv. Black with a slightly creamy, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and slightly powdery aroma of cocoa, coffee, licorice and hints of dark fruits. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of cocoa, licorice, quite a bit of coffee and traces of dark fruits, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy and a bit powdery finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sold as Veedels Pale Ale. Hazy yellow colour with thin lacy head. Aroma and flavour have intense fresh hop notes. Balance is excellent. Sessionable but with just enough bitterness.

8 3 8 3 16Draft at Craft Beer Corner, Cologne. Slight hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, tropical fruit, lychee. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Crafter's Pub, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out piney hops galore, with earthy notes, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with tons of fresh stone fruits, loads of piney hops, some resins, and biscuity malt. Properly calibrated, with tons of force and balance. Very good.
