Big thanks to jcwattsrugger for the North Dakota tick. Pours the color of water. Absolute clear water. Nose/taste of apple, honey and vanilla. Light and muted notes in nose and taste. A bit earthy. Good full mouth and absolutely no alcohol detectable. Almost like a honey apple flavored water. Very drinkable.

750 ml bottle purchased mail order from the winery. Pour is cloudy white, very slight yellow golden hues. Still, as expected. Nice legs on the swirl. Aroma of floral honey, with some interesting flinty mineral notes, very natural and soft. Lovely nose, in fact. Taste is dull initially, than giving way to honey sweetness. The floral is present as well, though pretty sharp in the taste. Palate is slick and drying. Don’t know all that much about mead, but I will say this one smelled very nice and tasted fairly average.
