Growler shipped my way from my beer-o-claus, markwise. Thanks Mark. The growler pours with a somewhat opaque deep copper body (hope haze I hope) with gold hues and supporting a full near white head of foam that leaves behind sheet lacing. The aroma offers up a mix of mango and pine hops and then it gets into a mild buttery diacetyl like sensation. The taste is similar with resiny pine hops ringed with butterscotch and mango like fruitiness. Decent enough with plenty of hop bitterness but whatever that is that seems diacetyl is taking away from the experience.

Growler at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours cloudy yellow with a small, filmy white head. Sugary, lightly sweaty fruit nose. Light sweet flavor, mellowed tang, some biscuits. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Fairly clean finish, very low tartness, little acidity, more doughy biscuits. So so.

on tap-lt brown-black. A-roasty/cocoa-dk malt, earthy. T-roasty/molasses/cocoa-dk malt, earthy hops.

on tap-thin offwhite-yellow/gold. A-citrus-grapefruit/pine, 2nd lt malt. T-citrus-grapefruit/pine hop bite, some lt malt. Dry, crisp.

on tap-lt tan-hazy amber. A-med/dk fruit, 2nd med malt-toffee. T-med/dk fruit, 2nd rock candi/caramel-med malt. Towards med body.
