Excellent DIPA, presenting balanced notes of citric hops, caramel, a touch of pine, and mild grapefruit notes. Keeps the grapefruit zest subtle, and the pint is better for it. No complaints here.

Growler shared on the bus during RBWG 2015. Pours hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Good SIPA, fresh pale bread, citrusy hops, orange and tangerine in particular. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish. Sound.

Growler shared on the booze bus during RBWG 2015. Cheers! Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Nice citrusy hop character, sugary white bread, light bitter hay, grain husk, lemon rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, notes of ripe citrus. Enjoyable.

1.0L swing top growler fill, courtesy of Markwise, pours with a hop hazed deep gold body that has a copper colored core and supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up pine hops, leafy green hoppiness, a dash of caramel malts, garlic, slight vegetable and earthy herbal notes. The taste delivers resiny bitter pine hops nuanced nicely by bitter and juicy grapefruit like hops, orange peel and a good dose of malts rimmed with a bit of a caramel note. To midway and into the finish the sweetness grows as does the boozy sense due to the bitterness and modest juiciness slowly fading away. There’s plenty of thick chewy hoppy flavor and body to make this a pretty damn nice sipper of a beer. I’m liking it.
