(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Spaten Münchner Hell". Very pale golden with a small head. Light-bodied with a sweet, malty character and only a weak bitterness. Quite a sympathetic beer. 051200

Bottle. Acidic, estery aroma. Clear golden colour, stable, creamy white head. Yeasty flavour with banana aftertaste. OK for a Kristall.

Fantasic appearence, fully lasting white head, dark amber colour, Cloudy ofcourse, Delicate aroma with hints of citrus, powerfull flavour, but only average finish duration. Better than regular Franziskaner weissbeer!!!!!!

Mostly lasting nice white head. Wonderfull yeasty aroma, very hoppy, moderate flavour, average finish, soft carbonated. A good beer but then it was supposed to be!

On draught(?) anywhere in Schwerte: Reddish brown coloured, cloudy, big rocky head; yeasty and fruity (mainly bananas) nose, some malty traces; malty, but mainly fruity taste, light bitter flavour with a sharper, nearly tart finish. All in all very well quaffable, quite well rounded.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a decent, white head. Very soft mouthfeel, but otherwise this is all malt - lovely, sweet malt with only a moderate bitterness. A wee hint of metal. But overall a very pleasant brew. 100600

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Clear golden wheat beer with white head. Lemon/herb nose with yeast and some bubblegum/banana but no where near as distinctive as some other wheat beers. Nice hoppy finish but I found it overly carbonated and slightly metallic.

Bottle: Light golden coloured, thin fluffy layer; shy malty nose, traces of fruitiness (citrus), traces of cardboard too; sweetish start, fruity (honey) malty taste, sweetish flavour, some very light bitterness in the short finish. O.K., but not overwhelming at all.......

Bottle. Dark mahogony color with an off-white head. Caramel and malt aroma, with a bit of dark stone fruit. Caramel and malt flavor with a bit of noble hop spiciness. Easy to drink.

on tap-pours a thin to disappearing white head, color is clear yellow. Taste is a mild grain with a light bite. Thanks Bainy from The Jersey Old Stars, for the round at Alpine Cellar at the Lake Placid/Saranac Rugby Tournament last weekend.
