Bottled. Yellow, cloudy, huge white head. Citric barley dominates the aroma. Soft and smooth taste of sweet citric barley and wheat, with hints of caramel. Not much aftertaste, only a lot of sweetness, which stays for about 15 seconds.

Bottle. Extremely flowery hops and malt aroma. Very dark tan color with moderate head. Tart malt flavor - low carbonation with a hint of orange and not much hops flavor. Pretty good but not your typical oktoberfest beer.

Bottle. Very nice apple and banana aroma - pretty distinct for a Kristall. Clear dark yellow color. Primarily malt flavor with light sweet fruitiness - banana and cherry - very mild hops finish. This is a very ful-bodied Kristall - one of the best of its type - Franziskaner is a very reliably good Weizen in all its types

A deep red beer with a collapsing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, hops, and berries. The flavor is dry with notes of roasted bread and hints of alcohol.

Light golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt and little else. Light to Medium-bodied; Small fragrant hop character in the taste with more of an emphasis on good quality malt. Aftertaste shows some distinct malt character with a bubbly feeling throughout. Overall, a nice beer to try (although it is very common) and worth drinking. I sampled this beer on draught as ’Spaten Munchner Hell’ on draught on 07-June-2004 in Sydney, Australia at the Lowenbrau restaurant on ’The Rocks’.

Bottle. Strong aroma of banana and slight clove -more than an average dunkel. Light brown cloudy color. Taste is rather light - banana and malt detectable but weak especially for a dunkel - way too light for a dunkel.

Bottle Pours a clear dark amber with a nice thnick off-white head. Aroma is of pale grain and malt. Almost pilsner-like. Some sweet bready notes as well. Flavor is reminecent of wheat toast with butter and honey. Malty and modest hops are here too. Carbonation is fairly lively with a clean thin feel. Trailer is a soft grain and slightly metallic taste. Not as dark and robust as other Oktoberfest beers but very enh\joyable and pleasant.
