Clear brown ale with a nice light moka head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and light molassey notes. A bit of cardboard (bought in Rochester at World of Beer, maybe bad storing). Good sweet malt with herbal notes, smooth alcohol, and light hops in finish. Oily mouthfeel, and rich. Very nice.

A light yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty and slightly hoppy. The flavor is sweet and rather hoppy.

On Tap. Thin whiteish head. Aroma-not much from what I would have expected. Color-cloudy straw/gold. Nice palate, interesting taste, bananaish. Better than average Hefe-weissbier. May 15 ‘05 rate3.1 Adj after many later enjoyments, Feb 28 ‘20 rate 3.7

Pour is a very cloudy tan with a tan head. Aroma is of cloves and a yeasty breadness. Flavor is malt and cloves and you get some wheat and you get the banana you should in most hefe’s. Very flavorful. Very tasty and well worth the $2 a pint price. Recomended!

Tap. Nice malty aroma. Clear golden yellow color. Slightly sweet malt flavor with mild hops finish. Quite enjoyable.

Pours a hazy brownish amber with a pretty substantial foamy head. Aroma is floral and malt. Wheat and yeast dominate flavor. I thought that the flavor could have blossomed a little more, but it seems to stop short of a true fullness.

Pour is a pale yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is yeasty but nothing overpowering. Flavor is a little banana here and a little yeast there but again nothing overpowering. There is nothing bad with this beer and its the first i have had of this style. Its just missing something. I would describe this as half lager and half hefe.

Bottle: Pale golden; very long lasting firm froth; typical mixture of malty, bitter and sweet notes; smooth; one of the better examples of the often boring"Münchener Helles"-style

Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Not much aroma, mainly hops with some grassy notes. Hoppy flavour along with malt. Late hoppy bitter aftertaste. Mouthdrying.

Bottled. Clear golden colour with huge white head. Fruity aroma. Sweet malty taste with hints of wheat. Sweet aftertaste, which doesn’t last that long.
