Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque, dark, reddish orange with a small, off-white head. Pleasant if not overpowering aroma of blood oranges. Light body, lightly sweet orange notes with a slight tartness. No real traces of any Hefeweizen whatsoever. Dry finish with no bitterness. A tart soda pop, but not unpleasant in any way. 030825

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Clean and nice lemonade aroma. Almost medium bodied, quite tart lemon notes with little left of the base beer. I quite enjoyed it though. 250725

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a lacing, white head. An aroma almost resembling Brett (!). Light body, strangely tart, yeasty with faint elderflower notes. A very odd beer. 250727

AROMA: Fairly sweet with fair amounts of soy sauce, malt, and dark fruits (e.g. raisins, prunes, etc.) scents. There are also faint scents of molasses and caramel.
APPEARANCE: Pours an opaque, extremely dark-brown with a short (1-finger), medium-tan, tightly frothed head that dissipates quickly with minimal lacing.
TASTE: Moderately sweet with just a touch of sharpness during the finish. Prevailing flavors are dark fruit, malt, and molasses. There are also minor notes of dark-roast coffee and soy sauce. I get just a touch of "booze" flavor in the finish, but I have to really search for it.
MOUTHFEEL: Full-bodied with a mostly smooth texture. However, I get a little "roughness" during the finish. Which is most likely due to the slightly above-average carbonation level.
OVERALL: Over the years, I've had this beer many times and greatly enjoyed it every time. Which baffles me as to why I have never rated it before now. I won't say that I disliked it, this time around, but I do remember it being much better than this one. Granted, it's been many years since I've had one of these. So either I am mis-remembering my experience with it (the most likely scenario), or they have slightly changed the formula. Either way, I would happily buy this again. It's just that I wasn't as "wowed" by it as I remember. Aroma, flavor, taste, and mouthfeel were all great. About the only thing I can nit-pick is that I wish the head lasted more than 5 seconds. Other than that, I'm a happy, happy, imbiber.

12 oz. bottle. Thanks Ashley! Pours an opaque gold color with a small white head and good retention. Decent lacing. Strong yeasty aroma, with some banana peel. The flavor is not quite as yeasty as the aroma. And the fruity esters help keep the yeast notes in check. I am not a fan of this style, but this is as good as this style gets. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness.

50 cl bottle. Hazy dark orange/brown with medium head.Above average aroma for a low alcohol. Taste is like ovomaltine with nice cereals flavour. Full body with medium carbonation. Short finish. I don’t find this version similar to the original . Unlike other raters I would distinguish it. Best low alcohol so far.
