My favourite Weissbier. Nice dark orange colour and head.Complex aroma. The taste is ripe banana , apple and variety of spices like cloves. Complex balanced ,very drinkable and available everywhere . Love the gluttonous monk on the label as well.

My least favorite beer from Franziskaner. Good head and clear just like any other Kristall. Less complex than the normal Franziskaner

Old rating - I'd forgotten just how good this particular Weissbier is, one of my favourite styles of beers. This 500ml bottle, 1 of 2, I got on special at Waitrose in Jersey. Lots of orange and banana in the taste.

Bottled. Much better than the usual Franziskaner. CLoudy brown with a citrus taste, inter alia.

Draft. Pours a darker amber w/a small amount of head. Tastes lightly hoppy, maybe a little thin for my tastes, got the characteristic Spaten grasssines though.
