Sample at the Seventh Son Tap Invasion at Daily Growler on 12/11/2013. Deep brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and subtle bourbon. Medium to full body with flavors of dark malts, mild bourbon and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft at Jackie Oβs. Cloudy golden yellow color, fluffy white head. Beautiful aroma of key lime pie, Florida breezes and Ohio summers. Taste is bittersweet floral lemon lime. Delicious.

Sample at 101 Beer Kitchen. The beer is a murky dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with flavors of roasty coffee, chocolate and hops. The finish is dry with a roasted malt and earthy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Columbus Microbrew Festival on 09/15/2013: Pours black with a medium tan head that diminishes slowly. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Full-bodied and smooth with flavors of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and malt. The finish is sweet with a roasty malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
