On tap at Seventh Son, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a rather restrained, earthy, dry, piney hop character and soft biscuity malt β€” for an 11% IIIPA, that's subdued aromatics. Flavour is less sweet than Proliferous, with dank hops, resins, some pine, tropical fruit, and sweet biscuity malt. This would be a quick night-ended if consumed in more than a few ounces. Balanced and scarily restrained for the alcohol. Very good.

On tap at Seventh Son, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out robust dank hops, plenty of pine, citrus peel, resins, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is assertive and balanced, with lots of piney and resinous hops, dankness, and ample sweet biscuity malt. It's borderline too sweet for my taste but still within the boundary of acceptability for me. Excellent.

4.6/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 4 Texture 2 Overall 3.5
On tap at Seventh Son, pours a clear dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma is boozy, with lots of ginger, sticky coffee, oak, dark fruits, and some cocktail-like notes. Flavour is extremely sweet and syrupy, tasting like a nasty medicinal cough syrup. The ginger is barley there. This is a total mess of sweetness. Undrinkable and really off-putting, though not an infected way. Ugh.

On tap at Seventh Son, pours a clear dark amber / burgundy with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out sweet bready malt, toasted caramel, and resinous hops. Flavour is certainly on the sweet side of things, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and some resinous hops that could be dialled up. Balance is okay, but I want the sweetness to be attenuated out a little more. Good but far from great.

6.9/10 β€” Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7.5
On tap at Seventh Son, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy, dank hops β€” which doesn't taste Czech-like at all β€” and a crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and dank, with piney, dank, grassy hops and a crisp biscuity malt. A Czech pils is defined by Saaz, so what the hell? I mean, it's good, just not a Czech pils.

Tap in Cincinnati. Slight haze, lasting head, citrus nose. Nice body off caramel and honey, powerful hop content, citrus and pine. Awesomely smooth bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at Getaway Brewing. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has dank citrus and dank pine with a bit of sweet onion supporting. Flavor has earthy pine and dank onion with a bit of citrus rind in the finish.
