Description
Twin Lakes is an American artisanal brewery preserving the art of brewing. 10 years ago a group of friends who shared a passion for home-brewing came together over their love of the craft, and decided to form a brewery that followed the time-honored methods of great brewing using only the best ingredients. We use only deep aquifer well-water, the finest grains, 100% whole-flower hops, and cultured yeast.

Our Master Brewers adhere to traditional brewery methods by making beer that is steam brewed, gravity-fed, unfiltered and unpasteurized, to provide our customers with a truly delicious craft beer experience. Naturally brewed with a passion to be Fresh-Local-Delicious, at Twin Lakes we don’t make extreme beers, just extremely drinkable beers.

Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very mild grassy and herbal flavour showing through with a big head. Aroma of grass, herbs, salt and quite a bit of mushrooms - all protein for me. Medium-bodied; Strong alcohol bite at first with a deep finish of grass and herbs. Overally, a nice light beer with some grassy and herbal notes and not much else. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 28-April-2015. ,

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright golden amber color with an enormous creamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and fruity with citrus and a bit of green onion. The flavor was tangy and malty with sour caramel, green onion and fruity hops. Long sour caramel and green onion finish. Medium body. Meh.

Johnny Brenda’s, Philadelphia tap: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is mostly piny hops. Taste is much the same. Somewhat bitter, with an aftertaste of the same. Body is pretty light bodied. Not bad, but pretty forgettable.
