Draught @ Beergium Bar, Brussels. Sweet, roasty and heavy with coffee notes, some marshmallows, bourbon, vanilla, licorice and chocolate, hints of beany old coffee notes in the finish but still pretty good.

On tap at Free the Whales. Pours black with medium tan head. The aroma is toasted coconut, chocolate, macadamia nuts, vanilla. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, hides alcohol well, enjoyed this.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours a cloudy pink orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is strawberry seed, banana runts, dough, wheat. Slick body, strawberry, banana laffy taffy, light vanilla, tart, very good.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours a cloudy ruby with medium pink head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, lime zest, wheat. Thin body, tart cherry, strong lime, light acidity, very good.

12 oz. can from ABC. Pours a clear bronze color with a khaki head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Malty aroma. Rich and sweet caramel malt flavor with almost no bitterness. Contrary to the label, this is an American style festbier, not German. Very smooth and clean and repeatable. Medium body. Low carbonation.

Shared by O, many thanks! Black, thick with small brown head. Loads of chocolate and maple syrup. Some nuts, cocoa powder and bourbon. Quite sweet.

Brune foncée, quais noire, col fin café au lait.
ArÎme aux effluves de malts - caramel, chocolaté, rétro adouci avec cette présence de marshmallow - petite touche presque de tourbe en retrait - je note trÚs peu l'apport de bourbon qui semble perdu dans le bouquet doux.
Palais est malté, café - chocolaté, Bourbon discret et un vanillé / boisé timide - onctuosité marquée venant des marshmallow - léger biscuité, café, qcq notes de fruits noirs qui ressortent sur la fin.
Idée bien placée mais avec tous ces ajouts le Bourbon s'en retrouve perdu.

Imp stout provning 2 olika med Peter pĂ„ Wilhemshill. Denna har mojs i sig som flyter runt i bĂ€gge vĂ„ra glas. Vi tror det Ă€r Coconut som Ă€r tillsatt. Doftar gör ölen tydligt av bourbon đ„ och lite choklad. I munnen smakar tydligt bourbon đ„ och ja lite klassiskt svag rostad ton. Ălen kĂ€nns som om den har 20% alkohol i sig. Lite obalanserad Imp stout inte i nĂ€rheten av The Bruery som Ă€r mitt riktmĂ€rke . Ok öl Ă€ndĂ„ dĂ„ det Ă€r ju bourbon
