Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy, deep gold in colour with a massive white head. Aroma of green, herbal hops, caramel and pine. Sweet, yeasty flavour, with some toffee, orange and a lingering bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top @ home.Light unclear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, orange - citrus, soap, coriander. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, sweet yeast, peachy, dusty hops, grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110213]

33cl bottle from the brewery. Nice ruby colour. Lots of head. A nice with with a nice aftertaste

Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep brown color ale with a medium foamy head with medium retention and some lacing. Aroma of heavily caramelized malt with light brown sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by heavy caramel malt with notes of brown sugar and more residual sugar then I had expected. Body is quite full with medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Heavier and sweeter then expected though still very enjoyable.

I do like this Dutch brewer, so seeing another one of their flip-top bottles at the LCBO made me happy. Beautiful big fluffy white head that has lots of retention and artsy lacing. It is hazy and golden-beige coloured. I do not see much carbonation. Nice aroma of hop with some malt in the background and notes of sweetness like honey. Slick and oily mouthfeel with a little stickiness. After a second pour, I can now see the little-bubble carbonation which reminds me of Champagne. The hop is also present all the way through the tasting, but not bitter (because of the dry-hopping). Alcohol is very well-hidden and hints of grain malt and pear are found as well. Pretty easy drinkability and quite a nice different beer.

Very woody aroma, with nutty walnut overtones. Clear garnet, thin head. Lots of walnut flavor. Medium body, alcohol not noticeable. Drinks like a Sam Adams Utopia, but sessionable. Quite a pleasant surprise. A good example of what viennas and all lagers can be.

Thanks to bierkoning for this one. Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts strong, modest fruity with lemon notes, a bit alcoholic. Finish a bit drier, still nicely fruity. Not bad!

Not a bad beer, and I probably got a bad bottle...Amber in color, aroma is of flowers and a little grapefruit. resembled a pale ale in aroma more than a pilsner, but the flavor is true to a pilsner, medium carbonation with a fat taste, the palate strips the tongue dry and is not very pleasant, but a drinkable and somewhat enjoyable beer.
