Bottle at Cafe Gollem, Amsterdam on 18th March 2010. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Very bitter and hoppy with a strong tingling citric note on the tongue. Strong grapefruit kick and exquisitely bitter hoppy aftertaste.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Hoppy aroma with hints of malt, grass and piney notes. Flavour was quite dry with plenty of hops, pine, grass and grapefruits. Finished bitter and dry. This is how all european strong lagers should be.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Modwerate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Grass and pine notes. Heavy bitter almost harsh flavor. Average heavy bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy bright yellow color beer with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some dry Noble hops notes. Taste is also a somewhat unbalanced mix between some dry hopped Saaz and some overly sweet malt notes with a hint of cereal. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I kinda like the idea of a hoppier Christoffel but just too sweet for my taste buds.

bottle, as Winterse Bok, kindly delivered by Bierkoning - thanks a lot! Deep brown colour, persistent beige head. Full-bodied, intensively malty with dark malts, roasetd malts and honey. Shy hints of cinnamon, clove and coriander are also present. Lingering finish with just the right amount of bitter and aromatic hops tuning in.

Tap @ wildeman. Slight hazy amber color, medium creamy head. Aroma of bit wheat, slight hop. Bit bitter taste, bit spicy, some caramel. Ok.

Pours deep mahogany into a snifter. Cola head quickly recedes to hug rim. Molasses aromas. Thin and fizzy with dark caramel and molasses upfront and a lasting bread finish.

bottle, courtesy of bierkoning - Thank you! Hazy pale yellow colour with a large white head. Intensive hoppy nose. Full-bodied with a highly appealing malty base and lots and lots of aromatic and bitter hops with a resiny grassy character, and traces of floral flavours and citrus fruit. A delicious beer.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an unclear, orange body topped by a white head. Sweet and malty nose with a good addition of citrusy, fruity hops. Sweet, slightly sugary flavor, pale malts and a good bitterness, leading to a sweet, bitter finish with citrus. Full-bodied. Initiall it didn’t impress at all, but it grows as you drink it. Doesn’t take many sips either. 090822
