Bottled. An unclear amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grapefruity hops, malt, fruit, and grass, leading to a quite bitter finish.

Bottle, 8.7%. Citric and malty aroma, slightly perfumy hop aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Very small white head. Good refreshing hop flavour, distinctly grapey, rather sweet. Alcoholic and slightly yeasty finish. Nice. 7 3 7 3 16

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours a dirty, hazy orange amber with a runaway head. Light fruity aromas. Medium body with mild carbonation. Peachy! A bit tart. Then it moves on to suggest earth or tobacco. Then it mellows out to a light stone fruit aspect. It is bitter, but mostly floral along with something suggesting citrus. It’s tough to describe. It is very good. Finishes delicious.

Bottle. Hazy amber beer with an off-white head. Light PNW hop aroma with grass and caramel. Caramel and light PNW hop flavor. Medium bodied. caramel and light citrus lingers with some light grass.

Cloudy orange color; big head. Big hop aroma, fruity, grassy, earthy. Medium body, not enough malty, strong bitterness, with a lot of hop oils but less aromatic than expected. Powerful but not impressive.

11.2 ounce swingtop bottle from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours a dark brown color with a thin head, Aroma is raisins, toffee, dark malts, tea and cola. Taste is grapes, berries, cola, raisin, toffee. Medium bodied.

Fully hazy, but sample was a bit shaken. Muddy orange beer under fine yellow head. Grassy, garden herbs - and discreet exotic fruit. Strangely enough not really hoppy smelling. Yeast esters, yes. Grapefruit, freshly pressed as flavour. Now here are the hops. The yeast notes are there all the same. Some healthy earthy undertone, too - good! Quite carbonated MF, and medium bodied. Long lasting bitterness. Nice beer - as to be expected from the Christoffel brand. Or ought I to write Brand?

On tap at T’ Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 08-06-09 Pours glowing orange colour with a white head. Smells really hoppy, there is also a slightly strange light cheesiness to the nose. Furry bitterness in the mouth which coats the roof of the mouth with a lovely sweet citrusness. Great beer in a great bar with thirty Dutch beers on tap. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov15 3.7
