12oz bottle pours with a clear copper body and thick gold edges and supports an off white head. The aroma offers up red apples, earthy gravel, sugar coated cherry skins, cherry nuanced hazelnut notes and boozy figs...what the... Odd funky just weird smell, and not in a particularly good way. The taste, oh boy here we go, is sadly similar with red apples, ripe cherries, some cherry skins and then odd earthy gravel mixed with sweet hazelnuts. None of this is going well together as every note is heading into a different direction. Wow, strange and its bold notes that pop up here and there are just making it worse. Easily will never touch this again.

Bottle @ MJ’s place. Pours a light yellow appearance with a tiny white head. Bizarre papery, lemon, apple, weird corny, disgusting aroma. Tangy apple, cleanser, tart, papery flavor. Would not drink again.

Sample at the "Far Out! Space-themed beer tasting" on 10/01/2013. Pours a brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grain and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of charred bread, latex and minty hops. The finish is sorgum and fruit. Not good.

From a bottle, big bubbles head. Lots of visible carbonation. Somewhat plastic volatile aroma, good whiff, knocks my head back.. Stronger bandade taste, yes, plasticity carries over to the flavor, too. Good co2 but this is almost as rude as my homemade apple cider. Maybe equally offensive. Somethings sticking out in this brew. Quite pointed. Not impressed. Seems like much more than 5%.

Bottle - Raspberry, vinegar and booze. Clear reddish gold with no head. Acidic raspberry and pop like. A refreshing drink but not very beer like.

Bottle. Sweet, medicinal aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet floral orange/lemon flavor with light medicinal finish. Fruity and light - thankfully I’m not gluten-intolerant though.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a slight white head. Aroma does suggest Belgian yeast/spice. Med body. Flavor goes a bit wonky. Kind of honey/vanilla. IMHO it’s much more like a cider than a Belgian. It even has a touch of "skin" astringency. Forgetting the attempted style, this may be the most drinkable of the NP gfs.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark amber/copper with virtually no head. Aroma is mildly fruity. Med body. Flavor is sort of cola/corn. Blind tasting I might not suspect this was a gluten free. Ambers are often a bit odd/blah and this one kind of fits right in.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma suggests a wit, sort of. Med body. Flavor is sweetish with some citrus. Finishes a bit gummy.
Earlier Rating: 10/10/2010 Total Score: 2.8
Pours gold with a transient tan head. Light citrus aroma. Med body/mod carb. Flavor is mild grain(?) with a little citrus. Light but drinkable.
