Bottled 31 okt 2018, batch aged on Old Forester barrels. Pours dark brown, some pale foam, syrupy thickness. Smells malty, some wood. Nice carbonation, good thickness. Taste is malty, raisins, hint of coconutty bourbon. Ranging into old ale regions. Fun!

Bottle from Monastic Store of the brewery. Color: Clear copper, no head. Aroma: Caramel, vanilla and honey. Taste: No carbonation. Sweetish but not too sweet, grainy, honey notes, caramel and subtle vanilla and herbal notes. Some hop notes too. Quite boozy. Warming mouthfeel. Light bitterness, going towards moderate at finish. Bit sticky. Unusual. Well balanced and nice complexity. Nice one.
