Description
Oktober 2013 werd Stichting Haagsche Broeder ingeschreven in het handelsregister en begin 2014 werd er gestart met brouwen. 28 juni 2014 werd de eerste Haagsche Broeder Prior aangeboden aan Burgemeester Jozias van Aartsen en is de verkoop van start gegaan.

Bottle shared. Murky dark brown with short lasting beige head. Soft coffee, earthy, raw cocoa, earthy, dry leaves. Medium sweet, lighter bitter. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

Brown with offwhite ring head. Dried fruits, very fruity blend, light toasty malt and some rye and old cherries. Pinchy and pleasant sourness. Very nice.

Bottle shared. Clear reddish brown with small head. Earthy, sherry, dried plums, blackberries, red currants, strawberry jelly, elderflower. Medium sweet and sour. Medium bodied. Lovely.

Bottle, 2019. Color: Dark ruby, very thin beige head. Aroma: Boozy, dark dried fruit, raisins. Taste: Vinuous, dark dried fruit, caramel. Hints of red fruit. Boozy. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate hopbitterness, light fruity and vinuous tartness. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one.

Tiresome Sunday THT (Ex-Lazy). Dark brownish with offwhite head. Sour grain, roasted grain, grapes. Mostly sour, somewhat sweet, mostly sour, light bitter. Medium body and soft carb.

Bottle shared. Bit hazy brown with beige head. Wet cellar funk, sherry, raisins, bread crust, blackberries, roasted malts, sour cherries. Medium sour, lighter sweet and bitter. Solid medium bodied. Tasty.

Bottle, dec 2019 version. Color: Clear brownish red, very thin beige head. Aroma: Vinuous, red and dark fruit. Taste: Dried dark fruit, red fruit, some caramel. Vinuous notes. Subtle Bourbon, vanille. Some wood, tannins and licorice. Moderate sweet, light vinuous sourness, very light bitterness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Fruity, dry and a bit tart long lasting vinuous finish. Quite boozy, tasting like more than the 9% that is stated on the label. Very nice, great balance, nice complexity.

Unclear amber with white head. Soft grainy malts, light fruity, brier, berries, just very soft and muted. Yeasty and mild to slightly firm bitterness and a grapefruit peel tartness. Medium body and soft carb. Pleasant sunny weather terrace beer. 😎🌞

Hazy pale amber, white head. Sweet malts, grassy, hay, rabbit food hop pellets 🐰☘️ . Sweet soft bready notes, fruity citrus grapefruit peel and a little toffee note cloying to an alcoholic fume. Medium body, soft prickly carb. Bittersweet finish.
