On tap at the Nook. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a small, fine, beige head. The aroma is light smoky peat, cane sugar, a bit of licorice, walnut, and brandy. Very sweet and malty, with a faint bitterness. Only a little hot. Medium body, syrupy, and grainy. Beautiful scotch ale - reminiscent of Speyside.
