Hazy yellow-orange color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hop, grapefruit, pineapple and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Seems a bit thin for a big Scottish ale, with moderate notes of caramel and toasted bread, but also a metallic undercurrent and a rather thin feel. Not bad, but not altogether filling.

Very drinkable DIPA, not quite the aggressive hop-monster you'd expect, but rather an easy-drinking, moderately sweet big IPA with citrus and berry undertones and a firm, gooey caramel malt base. Wet malt and toasted grain float in the background, while strawberries and grapefruit add a nice layer of hoppy depth that grows piney on the finish. Pours a clear orange-gold with a massive white head and generous lacing. Nose is caramel, pine, and slight dank notes. Fluffy, chewy texture makes for a nice pint. Good beer.

Draft at the source. James Brown was looking over my shoulder as I drank this, very auspicious. Opaque brown/black color, light brown head. Nice aroma of cocoa powder, coffee grounds. Taste is bittersweet chocolate, light espresso. Nice body. Very tasty.

Moderately strong aroma of whole oranges and daffodils. Hazy amber, headless. Lilly flavor with lemongrass and orange peel underneath. Watery and thin. Good hop flavor and aroma, but execution needs work.
