On tap at the brew house, pours an ugly cloudy pale yellow with little head. taste is of lemon citrus, bananas, vanilla, pears, and cloves. Its pretty watery and doesn’t have any really backbone or punch.

On tap at the brewhouse. Pours a reddish brown with fluffy head. the aroma is of fresh strawberries and yeast. Taste is medium bodied belgian ale. its not overly strawberry but you get just enough. also yeast, cloves, slight barnyard. the 10.5% alcohol comes through a touch at the end. a pint of this to finish my night really put me over the edge into drunk town

on tap at the brewpub. pours a dark roasty color with small thin head. tastes is strong malt, some caramel, hop bitterness, maple syrup, and some soy sauce. a tad boozy and oily but ok

Draft @ the Brew pub on cask. Served in a snifter. Nearly clear gold with thick full head. Great lacing. Pleasant nose of yeast and malt with light spice. They use a new hop call “Motueka” from New Zealand. It had a really nice flavor. Bit of lemon zest, fruit. I would drink this again and was very delightful on cask. The best of the three beers I had on our visit.

Draft @ the Brew pub. Served in a pint. Slightly hazy yellow. Good carbonation, very thin head no lace at all. Nose is light stale wheat. Thin body. Subtle clove in the finish. Very weak. Needs more body and flavor. Sub-par. Where are the Hefe characteristics? Big swing and a miss on this one.

Draft @ the Brewpub. Deep copper color with thin white head. Light lace. Strange grain and malt nose. Nice flavor of malt, sugar and mild hops. A nice blend of flavors. Nothing that will blow you off your chair but... very well made.

Draft at SAVOR. Poured a copper color with a small head. Aroma was pine hops, rye notes, citrus, solid malts. Flavor was rye, grain, fruity notes, floral hops. Solid.

Draft at SAVOR. Poured a dark golden/amber color. Aroma was pine, strong citrus notes, caramel, grassy hops. Flavor was sweet, citrus, caramel notes, piney hops, oh so hoppy! The alcohol content is surprisingly well masked for such a high ABV. This was about as perfect of an Imperial IPA as I can think of. Next year guys?

A hazed golden saison with a thin big bubbled white head. In aroma, pleasant orange zest, coriander, candy sugar, quite classy. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with coriander, curacao, herbal and delicious. Nice. On tap at Boston Beer Summit, April 16 2011.
