On tap at the source. Lightly hazy deep amber color with a decent sized off white head that persists. Rich bready toasty maltiness with some diacetyl but not nearly as bad as the Long cast.

On tap at the source. Hazy deep yellow in color with a thin white head that quickly recedes. Huge bitter butterscotch nose and flavor makes it hard to find any other flavors. Didn't finish.

4 ounce draft at the brewpub. Flavor has light floral and mild citrus. Body is light and lean. This is a standard APA that can be found in any brew pub in the U. S.

Far out sample at the brew pub. Light tropical hence. Notes of papaya, pineapple and all the rotten peaches. Mouthfeel has weak juice. Thin watery body. It is drinkable.

Four ounces at the brewpub. Flavor has a ton of tart tangerine purée. Sourness is moderate and lingers a good amount after the sip. All sour tangerine juice.

Four ounces at the brewery. The base of the beer has a lot of Caramel malt. Sweet and bready with pine and herbal bitterness. Really old school / 2001 approach to the style.

Draught at the source: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly herbal with weird citrus. Taste is also pretty weird. Not terrible but the flavor profile does not appeal to me.

At the source: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is fruitiness, good bit of spice, and citrus. Taste is spicy and lightly sweet. Not overbearing and simple.
