Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Caramel malt and mild hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of sweet malt, caramel and lightly floral hops. Touches of sweet fruit as well. The finish is malty with a lingering caramel aftertaste. Decent beer overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium thin beige head that recedes to an outer ring quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Berries and sweet malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt and blueberries. The fruit in this beer is not the focal point, but more to augment the flavor. The finish is sweet caramel malt with a lingering berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

on tap-pours a white ring for a head and cloudy straw gold for a color. Aroma is faint canned fruit cocktail, spice. Taste is metallic pineapple, wheat, spice. Now I find the light less interesting but will leave it as originally rated.
