On tap at B&D. Black with medium light-brown head. Aroma is dark malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is dark malt, dry chocolate, and slightly bitter hop finish. One of North Ends better selections.

From BVery’s growler, thanks for sharing. Some floral and herbal aromas, which is the best thing about this beer. Flavor is all over the place and no flavor particularly comes through. It is bitter but lacks hop flavor.

Sampled from BVery’s growler. Roasted malt grain, with some sweetness. The yeast is in there, and I pick up just a little chocolate. This was by far the best of the three North End beers I tried.

Thanks to BVery for sharing a growler of a rare W VA tick. A dry porter. Brown color with roasted malt. On the light side in terms of flavor and palate, for the style.
