Like the idea of dragons, and their fondness for maidens, mead seems to have been created independently by different cultures all around the world. We bring these ancient archetypes into the modern age, producing delightfully flavorful wines.
We are proud to offer eight meads, of classic and unique styles, made from exclusively West Virginia Honey and other premium all natural ingredients. All of our meads are craft fermented in traditional small batch glassware to protect these delicious flavors.
We never add sulfites or other chemical additives, and all of our products are made with gluten-free yeast.

Many thanks to Weihenweizen for this bottle. Strange fruity nose. The mead starts very dry, lots of sour fruit there with honey only in the back. Fruity berry sourness over a rich but neutral body. A bit sad but still interesting.

Bottle: Almost completely water-clear.....a faint cast of pale yellow....still and headless. Honey, alcohol aroma. Taste is very light honey, with a peppery, alcohol warmth. VERY dry.....not a great deal of honey sweetness....but the dryness is a pleasant difference.
