CTZ IPA @Princeton -on tap-pours a rich light tan head that laces and gold/amber color. Aroma is lots of resin/pine. As it warms, floral with pine. Taste is floral/pine/herbal hops-with a dry bite, some light/medium malt.

@Princeton -on tap-pours a white ring for a head and deep pink grapefruit color. Aroma is raspberry, secondary musty wheat. Taste is raspberry-some sweet and lemon-some tart and tang. Good effervescence. Alcohol comes through slightly. Nice, lighter in style.

Sampled at Manhattan Cask Fest - medium-bodied, semi-tart beer, with underlying notes of rye, bitter orange peel, caraway, tangy cherry - mildly acidic and a wee bit bready - some lightly spicy ginger - interesting, and pretty tasty.

firkin-pours a creamy retaining thin white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is sour/tart fruit, vinegar, medium malt. Taste is sour/tart fruit-caramel apple, vinegar, medium malt, oak-wood, alcohol. Nice representation of style, although not my style.

(11/10/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Hazy orange-amber color. Aroma of smoked meat, lots of malt, some caramel and wheaty notes. Sweet malty flavor with smokiness, woody notes, plenty of caramel a bit of fruits. Rounded-bodied.
