Bottle. Pours clear orange with bone white head. Nose mango, tropical fruits, pineapple husk, honey and caramel malt and subtle hints of chili pepper. Taste is same with a tiny bit more pepper, but tropical fruits dominate. Finishes a bit dry. Medium body.

Bottle at my house. Pours reddish amber with a tan head. Nose and taste of resin, pine, caramel malt and light toffee. Resin/pine in taste is a bit abrasive at times. Medium body.

On tap at Sublime Alehouse. Strange beer (not really Dubbel like at all). Pours with a mostly clear bronze hue with a white ring of foam. Aromas are of cinnamon, light spice, caramel, raisins, barrel, churro, ginger, dark fruits and some candy sugar notes. Apple like esters. Flavors are lightly spiced, dry, tannin, alcohol, raisins, oak, apple, baked bread and some vanillin. Lively bubbles, medium dry with some warming.
