On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. Dark brown body and a small beige head. Roasted malts, some alcohol, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and chili hint in the aroma. Chili warming on the palate, full body and a pleasant carbonation. Chocolate, chili, vanilla and coffee in the flavor. Ok bitterness. Long warming, roasted, chocolate finish. Perhaps a bit too chili burning, but sure nice. 130816

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brown with a creamy/foamy tan head. Aroma is very chocolate. Of the med dark sort. Full body because of heavy carbonation. Flavor is chocolate, smooth dark malt, touch of coffee, maybe. Finishes earthy chocolate, bitter. Now the malt seems burnt, but not so much so that it hurts the flavor. Gotta be a hit with choc porter fans. Note: I think this is not pasteurized. Not a problem but for foam oozing out of the bottle.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark brown/black with a 3 finger foamy tan head. Aroma is Mexican chocolate. Full bodied. Flavor is cinnamon/chocolate. With a lot of smooth burnt malt. The finish is even stronger smooth burnt malt - burnt enough that this isn’t really all that sweet. But it’s not dry. Cinnamon seems to stick to the end. It’s a good one.
