Bottle at Sjätte Tunnan, April 2013. (sold as Medovarus Äppelmjöd) Clear light golden with no head. Sweet, totally dominated by apples both in the aroma and taste. Also some very light notes of honey. Drinkable.

Sampled on November 14, 2012Partly Swedish label, states "Medovarus Vintermjöd" on it.Two dates printed on "11.16.12" and "11.07.13".Clear golden color, no head. Though at this restaurant served in ceramic mugs, so had to try and check color when they poured it for me. Spicy, sweet, Christmas like taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Bottled@SBWF2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is spices, honey, mild nectar and quite spicy notes as well. Flavour is similar with some quite big peppery notes in the finish. Bottled@SBWF2012. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is honey, wood, mild liquorice, spices and some slight nectary sweetness. Flavour is rather similar with some mild herbal and sappy notes as well.

Bottled. A golden mead with no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of honey, while the flavor is sweet with notes both of honey, apples, and cinnamon. The mouthfeel is sparkling to start off, but end with a slightly sticky feel.
