Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that dissipate. Banana and clove forward aromas with some light lemon. Clean and smooth on the palate. Body is a bit thin compared to the German classics, but the flavors are there. Lingering clove and faint floral, banana and light grassy hops on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hefe Weizen on 20 Oct 2018 at 17:05 - Score: 7

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Mike! Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely crackery malt nose with lemon and fresh bread. Some floral notes as it warms. Crisp and clean, great crackery malt character. Good peppery hop bitterness on the finish with a touch more lemon. Stellar and insanely crushable. Up there with Suarez and pFriem for me.

Can. A- Ham, smoke, wheat. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Ham brine, smoke, ash, wheat, woody. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smoky finish. O- For a beer as light as 3%, this was certainly flavorful. Lots of smoke. Not super meaty like some but a lot more ashy flavor. Surprised this is rated as low as it is. Pleasant to drink for sure. As it warms, it takes on a slightly astringent metallic taste but still not bad.

Can from Mark B thanks for helping me try this elusive bugger. Lightly hazy straw yellow color with a thin bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Lots of banana and clove on the nose and flavor with light grainy sweet bready malt underneath and a light tartness in the finish. Very tasty Hefe.
