Draft at the source. Advertsied as enzymatically dugested gluten, but not gluten free. Staff warned us, and they were right. Lots of spice and fruit in the nise, and taste is fig jelly. I’m glad I can digest gluten.

On tap at Brewpub ($6): Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma is of toffee-like malt and hops. The hop character in this one is pretty good: not really overlly bitter, but nice piny/earthy combo. Leaves some aftertaste. Mild sweetness is apparent in this one. Toffee-like quality is present. I just stopped in for one beer, and I think I made a pretty good choice.

6.3/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6
Location: On tap at the Brewpub, 1/22/10

Aroma: Aroma of caramel, some toasted malts, and toffee
Appearance: Pours a dark amber color with a thin head
Flavor: Taste is pretty balanced, medium sweet, medium bitter
Palate: Light bodied with a nice smoothness
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a solid beer, not bad, not great, but definitely solid. I enjoyed it. I can see why they describe it as a good session beer on the menu, for that is probably a very good description.

Just added this one, so I'll be the first to rate it as well.

Location: On tap at the Brewpub, 1/22/10

Aroma: Nose is somewhat subtle, some spice and earth hops
Appearance: A burnt caramel/brown color with almost no head
Flavor: This beer is medium-high bitter, minimal sweetness
Palate: Very smooth beer with a nice mouthfeel, carbonation is very soft (almost flat)
Overall Impression: A very smooth and dry Pale Ale (leaning in the direction of an IPA). A bit one-dimensional, as the earthy spice hop flavor is really the dominant component to this beer, but it is not bad.

**Rating #1111 for me, which is a useless piece of information that only I would find interesting.

**Just added this beer, so I'll be the 1st rater too

Location: Tap from the Brew Pub in Old town Gaithersburg, 5/15/09

Aroma: Nice light fruit nose, with a little spice
Appearance: Orangish color, slight haze
Flavor: Light wheaty sweetness, light fruit flavor
Palate: Lightish palate
Overall Impression: I thought this was actually a pretty solid wheat ale, the berries were subtle enough that the wheat flavor really shows though.
