Lots of smoke hides a bit of an unbalanced mess here. Pours black with good head and lacing. Some roast. Medium bitter finish with some sweetness and strange hint of tang. Thick consistency. Tap at brewpub.

Pretty nice actually, a surprisingly good beer. Big roast oat aroma here. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Light chocolate. Medium bitter finish. Thick consistency. Tap at brewpub.

Lots of hops initially on the head here. Big citrus peel sense. Pours amber with great head and lacing. Bitter finish with light sourness. Consistency a little syrupy for my liking. Elements a little unbalanced here. Tap at brewpub.

Tap. Pours clear pale amber, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is a bit funky, vanilla, oak, bourbon. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, touch of funk, some tart cherry. Light body, little carbonation, a bit of windex. Not bad.

Tap. Pours hazy chestnut, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, oak, just a touch of cherry, toffee. Flavor is oaky, bourbon, vanilla, toffee. Light sweet, medium tart, not funky. A bit medicinal. Lightish body. Not bad.
