Description

Slightly hazy pale golden, small but steady white head, good lacing. Sour aroma, yeast, green apples, some barnyard. Taste soft sour and a light sweet touch, green apples. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, soft dry sour aftertaste, woody notes, no smoky touch as promised, nevertheless a good and easy to drink sour saison.

Bottle. Pours a clear earthy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy light fruits with a slight tartness, red wine barrel and some light spice underlying. Flavor has light spice up front with earthy funk, a growing tartness and a bit of wine barrel backing.

330ml bottle. Milky, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mild, bretty and funky, slightly fruity aroma, hints of unripe yellow stone fruit, oaky overtones. Taste is dry and tart-ish, mildly bretty, funky, slightly fruity, hints of peach and apricot, old lemon peel, subtle wheaty malty sweetness with a touch of grape sugar. Pretty nice (as is true for the whole series).

33cl bottle: drank at home on 21st Mar 2020. Didn't really go for this, golden body, white head. Mild peaty smokey nose and taste, maybe some semi-sour citrus notes in there too.

Flaska från Etre gourmete. Relativt klar gyllengul vätska med högt krämigt vitt skum. Stor kropp, lätt fatlaktosyrlig (intressant att att smakbeskrivningen anger noll syrlighet)stenfrukt, beska örter, hö, honung, säd, ganska torr avslutning. Trippelliknande bryggs med snyggt kompletterande fattoner. Harmonisk. Mycket gott.
