keg at the six degree north.. hazy amber... thin white.. massive fresh passion fruit nose.. big bright passion.. Light woody but too much lactic finish

Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy-creamy off-white head, good retention and thick creamy lacing. Sour nose with some fruitiness (grapes, apples, gooseberries) and some mild old vinegars. The taste starts off sour and stays for a while, finishing with some light tart on the tongue. Apple notes and vinegar again. Goes down smoothly with a hint of oak wood. Well-brewed, but not so much my thing.

Helder goudkleurig bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en fris zuur met iets van rook, hout, grapefruit en gras. Best goed bier maar om dit nu een winterbier te noemen gaat we wat te ver.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazed reddish amber, good frothy pale beige head. Aroma suggests a rich sour oak aged dried-fruit bruin. Taste is tangy, moderately sweet, nice soft amber malt, oaky leathery moments, aged dried cherries, dried dark fruits with a good vibrant acidity. Excellent complexity. Very good.
