Description
Brouwer - eigenaar Luc Vermeersch heeft een grote interesse voor traditionele ambachten. Niet vreemd dus dat hij destijds in zijn tuinhuis een broodoven en kleine brouwerij heeft geïnstalleerd. De minibrouwerij van 30 liter had hij in 1997 in Finland gekocht. Hij kreeg van de fabrikant juist geteld één weekend opleiding. Door veel zelfstudie en het maken van talloze kleine proefbrouwsels groeide zijn brouwkennis en -interesse. Na 10 jaar brouwen schreef hij zich in voor een brouwcursus. Tijdens het cursusjaar smeedde hij plannen voor een grotere brouwerij en begon hij her en der delen van de installatie te kopen. In april 2008 was brouwerij De Leite een feit.

Light florals and some coriander. Pretty light on flavour but booze is well hidden and it's pretty drinkable overall. Golden pour with decent head. Bottle at Duplex.

Bottle shared at THT November. Clear golden with white head. Grapes, fruity, glue, alcohol, sour and sweet and boozy. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bit rough.

Hazy golden with a small off white head. Aroma of vinegar, woody notes, fruits and malt. Flavour is heavy sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled at THT November. Slight hazy golden with white head. Sour grains, light glue, vin jaune, balsamico, dry oak, oxidized malts, yoghurt, soft glue. Medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Solid medium bodied. Quite rough, but has some nice stuff.

Bottle from Hop Duvel. Pours light hazy red with a medium pinkish head. Aromas of cherries, marzipan, vanilla, sweet raspberries. Taste has sweet marzipan, tart raspberries, cherries, cherry skin, vanilla.

Pours unclear blonde, no real head. Smell is passion fruit. Taste is full, passion fruit. mild smokey touch. Nice, even though I usually hate smoke. The passion fruit is very powerfull, natural , and makes the beer way better.

30/08//2019 @ home - 33cl bottle from Willems & Zoon. Clear orange, medium white head. Nose is lambic, wood, lemon, bit vanilla. Taste is sour, lambic, lemon, green apple, wood tannins.
