On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Sangue di piccione, abbastanza limpida e brillante, con schiuma stentata e poco persistente. Al naso note di ciliegia, frutta rossa in genere, leggero cuoio e acetico. In bocca è acida decisa, tanta frutta rossa, anche tart, non elegantissima ma di carattere. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Lascia il segno.

Bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Hazy blond colour, white foam. Nose of stone fruit, yeast. Taste is lemony, citrussy, bit messy. Sweet, bitter and a light tart hint. Bit unbalanced. Not very nice.

Bottle. Color: Pale golden, white head. Aroma: Sourish, lime, funk. Taste: Alternating moderate sweet, sourish and bittery. Notes of lime, wild yeast funk, wood, light smoky hints. Thin body, dry-ish mouthfeel. Below average carbonation. Nice refreshing beer.

A: malty, caramel, bit white wine, bready, strange sweet fruity, bit funky. T: strange fruity, bit vegetables, woody but not in a right way, this is quite messy combo for me, medium body and lower carbonation, may be time to re-rate the whole bottle in the future.

330ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Pours misty unclear gold, thin ring atop that threatens to disappear entirely. Light smoky nose, with brett, that marries well with the saison yeast present. Taste continues along similar lines, smokiness gradually becomes a little dirty and off-putting, confident carbonation, a touch woody, not clear what fruit it's been aged on, not quite sure why this wasn't detailed, some lime, lemon, peach and citrus moments. It's fine, just a little lost with no defined, specific intentions.

Thanks for sharing tderoeck + Rubin77 + nathanvc! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Bierfestival Brugge 2019. Dark amber red tanned head. Nose is very weird, sour coffee grounds, chicory, carrot funk, vinous. Taste is coffee grounds, bark, like a BE stout blended with Oud Bruin soured beer, chocolate thinned and soured, some vinegar,… Thin, grainy, varnish,… Too much for me, strange brew that didn’t really work for me, continuous the streak of odd De Leite beers.

Thanks for sharing tderoeck + Rubin77 + nathanvc! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Bierfestival Brugge 2019. Clear golden with white bubbles. Nose is mellow white wine BE esters, sweetish white grape, orange peel, noble rot / carrot sweetness and funk. Taste is weird sweet carrot / noble rot / Vin Jaune sweetness, esters, sugar, white wine, grape, challenging, thick but interesting, better than I remember first batch being. The extra time helped.
