sample shared @ Bruges Beer Festival 2019 day 1. with 77ships, tderoeck and nathanvc. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: coppery to brown, almost clear. A: chocolate, dark fruits, bit vinous, sour fruity, cocoa, caramel, bit woody. T: sour fruity, chocolate, cocoa, bit puckering, lemon, medium body and carbonation, nice, enjoyed.

Bottle shared at THT February. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, coriander and cloves. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck. Pours misty unclear gold, thin ring atop that threatens to disappear entirely. Light smoky nose, with brett, that marries well with the saison yeast present. Taste continues along similar lines, smokiness gradually becomes a little dirty and off-putting, confident carbonation, a touch woody, not clear what fruit it's been aged on, not quite sure why this wasn't detailed, some lime, lemon, peach and citrus moments. It's fine, just a little lost with no defined, specific intentions.

Thanks for sharing tderoeck + Rubin77 + nathanvc! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Bierfestival Brugge 2019. Dark amber red tanned head. Nose is very weird, sour coffee grounds, chicory, carrot funk, vinous. Taste is coffee grounds, bark, like a BE stout blended with Oud Bruin soured beer, chocolate thinned and soured, some vinegar,… Thin, grainy, varnish,… Too much for me, strange brew that didn’t really work for me, continuous the streak of odd De Leite beers.

Thanks for sharing tderoeck + Rubin77 + nathanvc! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Bierfestival Brugge 2019. Clear golden with white bubbles. Nose is mellow white wine BE esters, sweetish white grape, orange peel, noble rot / carrot sweetness and funk. Taste is weird sweet carrot / noble rot / Vin Jaune sweetness, esters, sugar, white wine, grape, challenging, thick but interesting, better than I remember first batch being. The extra time helped.

Clear orange beer, small creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, horse stable, manure, bit rubbery, weird, what the hell is wrong with this beer? MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: yuck, this is really bad, very much like rubber gloves, very chemical, manure, slightly smoky, oh my, this is really bad stuff. Aftertaste: nope, more of the same off-flavours, really don't like this. Something went horribly wrong with this beer.

25/01/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Reddish brown, no head; Nose is lots of cherries, cherry pits, bit wine. Taste is sour & barrel, cherries & pits, red wine touch, dry ending.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from online most likely. Pours predominantly clear orange-gold with a billowing, frothy white head. The nose has some tangerine meringue. Light-medium sweet flavour with lightly toasted pale bread, semi-ripe citrus, more tangerine, straw, mellow yeast. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, more bready malts, nips of candi sugar, sun-kissed grains, soft grassy bitterness. Drinks pretty good, if a little basically.
