Description
Brouwer - eigenaar Luc Vermeersch heeft een grote interesse voor traditionele ambachten. Niet vreemd dus dat hij destijds in zijn tuinhuis een broodoven en kleine brouwerij heeft geïnstalleerd. De minibrouwerij van 30 liter had hij in 1997 in Finland gekocht. Hij kreeg van de fabrikant juist geteld één weekend opleiding. Door veel zelfstudie en het maken van talloze kleine proefbrouwsels groeide zijn brouwkennis en -interesse. Na 10 jaar brouwen schreef hij zich in voor een brouwcursus. Tijdens het cursusjaar smeedde hij plannen voor een grotere brouwerij en begon hij her en der delen van de installatie te kopen. In april 2008 was brouwerij De Leite een feit.

THT July at Kwartje. Clear golden with white head. Funky, sweet malts, sour grape and lemon. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT actually July! Clear golden with white head. Glue, sweet malts, lime, apple, plastic, grapefruit peel. Quite sweet, medium sour, light acetone burn. Over medium bodied.

Bottle shared at Kim thingy place Zaandam. Hazy orange golden with huge white head. Sweet malts, light sweet white wine, paper, light gooseberries, a touch of vin jaune, raisins, light alcohol, tea, soft glue, bitter grass and herbs. Almost medium sweet, light bitter and sour. Medium bodied. OK.
