Brouwer - eigenaar Luc Vermeersch heeft een grote interesse voor traditionele ambachten. Niet vreemd dus dat hij destijds in zijn tuinhuis een broodoven en kleine brouwerij heeft geïnstalleerd. De minibrouwerij van 30 liter had hij in 1997 in Finland gekocht. Hij kreeg van de fabrikant juist geteld één weekend opleiding. Door veel zelfstudie en het maken van talloze kleine proefbrouwsels groeide zijn brouwkennis en -interesse. Na 10 jaar brouwen schreef hij zich in voor een brouwcursus. Tijdens het cursusjaar smeedde hij plannen voor een grotere brouwerij en begon hij her en der delen van de installatie te kopen. In april 2008 was brouwerij De Leite een feit.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2018. Golden, little thead. Nose is massively mineral, sweet almost candy fruit, lemon, sourest one, vinegar, almost medicinal smoke. Taste is smoked oily peach, passionfruit, candy, cider, smoke, yoghurt, some vinegar, oak. Very odd as others of this series, smoke, mineral, candy,… Too much really but not all bad. Second best one after plain version.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2018. Golden orange, soapy white head. Nose is fluffy eggs, massive brett, weird smoke, mineral sour, crisp. Very strange beer but I kind of like it, massively mineral, sour, lemon, acidic, brett, smoked brett, egg whites, yoghurt, very weird. Lively thick smoked & mineral body. Very weird but I dug this one, this one & the fruit one were nice but the others were too much. Peculiar, mineral, smoked brett affair.

28/04/2018 – 10cl glass shared with an international ratebeer crew @ZBF2018. Cloudy golden, small sticky lacing. Nose is thin, bit corn. Taste is malts, corn, some spice. thin.

28/04/2018 – 10cl glass shared with an international ratebeer crew @ZBF2018/ Hazy light yelleow, small white head. Nose is gentle sour, lemon, some hay. Taste is lemon, more fruit, bit wood.
