appearance bears the name..golden. Light sugar, burnt sugar, the yeast has some nice aroma giving off. hard to explain but it smells pretty nice. Taste is pretty sweet. that fades fast, it’s not a bad beer, I get banana, some lemon, light graham cracker but the whole thing doesn’t meld together.
Light brown, 1 finger consistent head. Nice chocolate vanilla nose. Creamy mouthfeel with a thin finish. I just get vanilla for days and a very sweet vanilla finish. malt backbone is thin, more bitterness it’s like a lot of the beers here are just loaded with english hops. (cask special)
Dark brown to black, 1 finger creamy head. Very faint nose, a bit of chocolate. Taste is thin, very high bitterness, roasted walnuts. a mild honey taste. It’s thin, almost no body, very bitter but not a challening beer. Pretty good.
slight hazy dark orange 1 finger head but faded fast. Nose is light with a little bit of shoe polish. Taste is pretty decent but the finish is difficult requires a little water to wash it back. intense bitterness, rye, rain, a black tea taste and some sort of hay / grassy quality.
Burnt red leather color. Almost no nose except faint hoppiness. It’s strong with a cream/ red ale mix, high bitterness, dense malt profile, faint blackberry, lots of honey. I don’t know much about this one but it’s the most memorable at least for how well melded everything is.
Dark burnt orange. no head. Light aroma, some pine cone and bitter orange peel, som herbal spices. Gotta be over 100 IBUs, insane bitterness, tons of pine cone, crisp clean caramel maltiness the intense bitterness just sticks around on the tongue for a while. almost dank in nature. pretty intense.
Dark orange, no head. creamy nose with caramel, honey and some sort of graham crust. Tastes like dessert. Very sweet, loads of brown sugar, maybe some maple syrup. Nice body. sweetness fades fast to a bitter woody finish
A darker pale ale. Not a whole lottah IPA aroma on this one BO or not. But its there. Just a fresh smelling beer. Yes, IPA fer sure on the initial uptake. Has a slight tart thing on top of that IPA thing. Some mild co2. Seems to be a light IPA overall. But fer sure has a bitter resinous typical IPA finish.
Yes a pale ale fer sure. Just a clean fresh beer aroma. Big rocky head from a bottle. A rather mild tasting pale ale. Never tries to be in yer face and I like that. Must say this is one of the better behaved APA I’ve ever tasted even after 4,000 beers, heheh. Just the right amount hops to let you know its hopped but never over the top or inyer face, good balance IMHO. Never rude. Finish is a mild citrus thing on the palate, good overall.
