Half pour at the source Dark black in color with a huge frothy tan head that persists. Rich roasty caramel chocolate and brown sugary maltiness with hints of earth dark fruits and licorice. Nice beer!

Pint at the source with a bit too much head, seems to be a common problem here. Hazy orange amber in color with a big bubbly white head that recedes. Rich bready crackery malt with bits of floral spice and light fruit to counter. Tasty beer.

Pint at the brewery's beer garden before the rain chased us inside. Hazy dark straw in color with a creamy white head that persists. Berry on the nose and in the flavor against a light crackery pilsner maltiness and lightly floral hop. Pretty damn good fruit beer.

4 ounce draft. Flavor is blood orange, light malt, with a abrupt finish, yet has a odd aftertaste. No tartness. Mostly malt character. Basic indeed.
