Autumn Brew Review 2012. I liked the regular Mort Noir and this is a good fruit beer. Good raspberry aroma and flavor, combined with roasted malt. Dry finish with raspberry.

Autumn Brew Review 2012. This beer has less complexity than the Beuxelensis. Yeast in the aroma. Dry flavor, with light hops, but the yeast is just barely sour and I could see this, like the Brux- becoming more sour with time. Better palate, even if there is less complexity.

Autumn Brew Review 2012. From a bottle. Powerful hop aroma with Belgian yeast. Herbal, dry flavor. Dry, earthy finish. I can imagine this becoming sour with some time in the bottle. One of the better beers from Rock Bottom in a long time.

At Winterfest, as "IPA with Brett." Gold color. Very dry, and mild, herbal hops. There is some yeast, but it could use a little more time to condition.

Winterfest 2012. Chai tea in the aroma. Light brown color and low carbonation. Thin palate. Lightly sweet roasted grain. The chai is interesting, asuming that is what it is, but otherwise it is a thin and light imperial stout lacking in flavor and aroma.

Served on tap at the Minneapolis location. 10 oz pour. Very dark brown. Flavor and aroma are surprisingly well hopped for the style, and there is also malt sweetness and fruit. I did not pick up raison, but I did taste caramel after the hops. Sweet finish.

Alcohol is much higher than 5.9. Pittsburgh version is at 8.9%. This beer should be reclassified as a weizenbock. Thick and heavy palate. Sweet flavor with wheat, orange and ginger. Sweet finish. Opaque orange, and low carbonation.
