Winterfest ’11. A solid coffee beer. Black with roasted grain. Coffee aroma and coffee flavor. I would probably call it a stout.

Winterfest ’11. Very light carbonation. Light gold color. Aroma has intense hops, but these are surprisingly lacking in the flavor. to the same degree. A little too hot from the alcohol.

Winterfest ’11. Sweet and smooth. I do not pick up pinot or any wine qualities at all. Is the barrel worn out? There is a little oak. Alcohol is surprisingly present for a beer where it just isn’t that high. Still, the qualities of a dubbel are good enough that it is a good beer.

Winterfest ’11. A simple smoked beer, in a Winterfest that has several of the style. Light smoke in the flavor and aroma. Roasted malt and some more smoke, but not intense at all making this very approachable, if not intense enough for me.

I think they had this in a bottle at the 2010 ABR. Lots of oak in the aroma, making the beer dry. Rich and smooth with a heavily roasted character, but I wish it had more smoke. Very thick beer. Good, but the abv might be a little high.

ABR 2010. A really good beer from Rock Bottom. Coconut in the aroma and flavor, but more chai than coconut. Roasted malt in the flavor as well. A black beer. Smooth palate, and a beer that is just a little thick.

Winterfest 2010. Cloudy appearance. Aroma and flavor of grain, some brown sugar, a little alcohol, and dried out plants. Medium hops, and drinkable enough.
