From tap. Pours muddy orange to brown, no real head. Aroma is soft malty with a fruity hops note. Flavour is soft sweet malty. Only a mild bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable. Served by a server called Amber at a rest. at the crossing of St. Croix river with Mississipi, on the Wisconsin side.

Malty for sure. There is no hop character to this beer. It is very smooth as the description says, but the sweet malt flavor is one dimensional and lacks the fruit or vinous flavors of better Scotch ales. Dark brown with a thick head. Tap; Happy Gnome.

They flavors came out well but they need to work on the light body. There is oatmeal, coffee, and very light malt. The beer is dark brown, lightly carbonated with a small head. Beef up the flavors and palate.

This small brewery came through with one of the best IPA’s at the pale ale heavy 2005 ABR. Powerful herbal hops with some citrus as well. The plain yellow appearance leaves something to be desired, but the assertive taste and heavy palate makes up for that.

9/12/04 A simple beer. Light red. Hops are not dominant; there is a light floral taste. Light palate.
