Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 11/9/12

Aroma: It has sweet caramel malts, a little spice, along with some herbal and earthy hops
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-amber with a small beige head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is just a little bit sweet with a balancing herbal hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is overly fizzy on the mouth, but otherwise it has a decent feel
Overall Impression: Not a bad beer at all. The nose was actually pretty interesting, and the taste was solid as well. The fizziness definitely hurts the drinkability, but it is still a solid one overall.

5.3/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 6 Overall 5
Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/9/12

Aroma: The aroma fairly fruity, but not citrus fruit, some biscuit, and a yeast
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a fizzy off-white head
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, it has a very little bitterness, and a slightly tart finish
Palate: The body is medium, but it falls off quickly, and this one has a fizzy carbonation
Overall Impression: This one is my first beer from (and first time hearing of) Keuka Brewing Co. I think they missed on the style completely, but beyond that, the beer just wasn't really that good. I don't know what they were going for here, it was clearly different, but not so much in a good way. I'd probably pass on it next time. I have another Keuka beer in the stash right now, lets hope that one is better.

Some unknown person left a bunch of this on my desk at work, no note or anything. I like my job. Bottle. Hazy. Ariegated amber gold color, massive cream colored ice cream cone head. Aroma of intense pine and maybe a bit of soap. Taste is bitter pine resin and subtle polish. Bitter stuff!

Bomber from Half Time. Pours very ruddy copper with a fizzy beige head. Aroma is mixed herb and caramel. Has an interesting tang. Med body more or less. Definitely caramel, perhaps a bit of diacetyl. Hop bitter seems herb more than grass. After a bit it seems a bit floral and spicy with grassy bitter. This is not a typical blah amber. It has some interesting character. You should try it once at least.

12oz bottle-shared by James-pours hazy yellow with a white ring. Aroma is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt. Taste is lemon/acidic/tart, some light malt, then the pepper burn hits the back of the throat, the heat remains for a while. With the next sip, it starts again, but at a slightly higher level. 3oz is plenty.

A blonde golden IPA with a thin frothy light mocha head. In aroma, light floral hops with cheesy notes, weird. In mouth, a decent IPA with biscuit malt, funky hops, nice and funky. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.

Bomber from Half Time. Under contract with Custom BrewCrafters. A mild gusher. Pours hazy amber with a 4 finger foamy white head. Aromas of light pitted fruits with spice. Near full bodied. Slightly tart. There’s roast malt, and something suggesting spiced peach or apricot - that’s not quite it, but ... It finishes dry with some spice. Interesting. Different.

Bottle shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours cloudy yellow with off white head. Nose of light malt, citrus and lemon. Taste is mostly lemon and light malt with a significant pepper burn that gets hotter as you go down the bottle. The burn isn’t over the top, but is still significant and balances fairly well with the lighter bodied brew.
