Pours clear, ruby red brown. Decently sized, medium low stability, lightly off-white head. Smell is caramel. Minor breadcrusty notes. Taste is medium sweet to sweet. Very caramelly. Bit earthy, somewhat breadcrusty hidden underneath the caramelly flavors. Slick MF, medium carbo. Ending is almost chocolaty, less caramelly, more towards the dark bread (crust ) alcohol is very hidden. A bit too uncomplex and sweet to me.

Bottle from beer advent calendar 12/24 ...and as I got used to with this box it's just another average. Warming alcohol is the only thing that has something to do with Christmas.

Kalea Advent Calender. A couple of days late. Sweet yeasty aroma with a citrus edge. Bright amber. Frothy white head soon fades. Lightt bitter with a syrupy sweet streak. But doesn't overdo the latter. A small pinch of spice. Medium bodied. Slick and feels sticky on the lips. Lively but still soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. I was expecting this to be way too sweet and sickly for my tastes but actually it's an enjoyable beer on a cold night.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of bread, toasted malt, honey and grass. Pours clear deep golden color with thin quickly diminishing off-whit head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet bready and caramelly, following is sour fruity, grassy and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is mild spicy, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Bad Santa means not so bad beer...

Pours clear darker golden colour, topped with medium small white head. Very gentle malty nose with some bread and raisins actually. Sweeter malty start with slight alcohol presence. Artificial bittery taste with lots of metal. Lighter body. Not too nice. Earlier Rating: 4/25/2016 Total Score: 2.5Pours a clear dark golden color, topped with a small and non-lasting white head. Immediately disappears. Almost no aroma, just slightly malty feel. Taste is sweet with just a bit bitterness in the finish. Hints of spices and a bit of grass. Not a bad taste, actually.

As Doppel)hirsch Heller Bock ( same ABV ) Pours darker blonde, clear. Small white head fades fast. Smell is thick, bready, caramel, bit sweet. Medium intensity. Taste is full, malty ( white bread) . A nice amount of yeast-based fruityness. medium-high carbonation. Thick, bit sweet and thus a kinda sticky mouthfeel.
