Bottle at RBSG grand tasting, courtesy of Hayduke. Hazy amber pour, small but tight beige head. Nutty aroma, malts, brown bread. Taste is also kind of nutty, some caramel, pumpernickel, burnt toast. Hops come in at the finish for some light citrus. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nutty Ambro on 21 Apr 2024 at 21:46 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Crowler share at RBSG grand tasting, thanks to Ron. Pale golden, thin bodied, with small airy head. Grassy aroma, light citrus. Taste is more of the bready malts, with some paper and paste thrown in. Some lemony notes, but not enough to save this.

Bottle at RBSG thanks to Ron. Dark brown pour with a small brown head. Aroma is mostly roast with a little chocolate. Tastes of roast and lightly sweet with milk chocolate, not as sweet as I would have anticipated. Lingering bittersweetness.

Bottle at RBSG. Dark amber pour with a small tan head. Aromatic with sweet Belgian candy and a deep maltiness. Some dark fruits and just a hint of yeast. The flavor overall is sweet, lightly spiced. Belgian notes are there, but mainly malty and dark fruits? a little bready.

Bottle at RBSG. Amber color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly malts with a very sweet sense. Toffee perhaps? Tastes malty, but sort of concentrated and extract like. Not much other flavors aside from sweet and boarderline earthy.
