Gift from my eldest daughter. OK, so I don't typically like pumpkin beers but I found this one to be acceptable. Yes, from a pounder can it does smell a little like pumpkin pie, so that was a little alarming. You know, all those stupid ass pumpkin pie spices are probably in the beer, but no pumpkin. However, after tasting it, I found it to be somewhat well balanced with pumpkin and spice. I also know that many beer connoisseurs say pumpkin really doesn't have a taste, but as a cucurbitaceae vine grower of all types, I say they do have a mild flavor, and in this beer you can taste the pumpkin. Not bad overall and it hides the alky content well. Decent pumpkin session and you don't hear that from cheapie too often. Pounder can went down too easy and too quickly. Oh well.

Blood orange nose. Crystal clear amber, medium head. Blood orange, bread crust. Biscuit finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. No prominent hop character, but beery despite the fruit addition.
