Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of nimbleprop. Pours a clear yellow with a small and rough white head. Sweet, skunky malty nose. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, sweet malt, quite some flowery hops and a little sulphur. Ends dryish with a little late metal. Decent alright. 230112

Bottle courtesy of nimbleprop in ansetia, thanks Andy! Poured into a glass recently drained of a Barbados rum, just to add some character. Extremely plae yellow color, large white head. Aroma of rum and white pepper. Taste is wet cardboard and moldy paper. Even the rum can’t help this one.

Bottle shared by nimbleprop. Yay new country! Pours a clear dark ruby with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts and a tart finish. The taste is roasted malts, nuts and raisins. Medium bodied. Not bad.

33cl bottle pours a crystal clear, deep gold with a thin, fizzy white head. Nose is lightly lemony, some malt, some grass, a little hay, some light cracker. Flavor is sweet, lightly malty, lightly grass, some citrus, a little buttery, some white bread. Lightly sweet, slightly watery finish. THis is OK. I liked the regular Moonberg and Nile Gold more.

50cl bottle pours a transparent, mahogany brown with a thin, slightly off white head. I was very surprised by the clarity of it. Nose is very clean, light malt, some crackers, a little yeasty, some bread, a little dark chocolate, some light cherry. Flavor is fairly standard, the cherry flavor comes through well, some dark bread, very very light coffee, some dried roasted malt, a little dark chocolate. Dry finish. Very drinkable but from from transcendant. I liked their take on a standard lager much better. There are better stouts here on the African continent.

50cl bottle pours a crystal clear gold with a clumping, lacy white head. Nose is fine, typical of a lager, lightly fruity, some definite yeast, lightly malty, some bread a little light yeast. Flavor is fine, nothing special, lightly sweet, lightly malty, a touch or light citrus, a little apple, pear, white grape. I think this seperates itself a bit because it doesn’t taste like maize and it doesn’t taste like shitty adjuncts. You can tell this is well crafted compared to some of the other beers in this market.
