very hazy yellow. sticky head. Sour nose with acetic and salad notes. Light body, thin, obviously rhubarb, with a touch of green pepper and some medicinal notes. Finish is okay.

dark yellow hazy slightly. nose of pine cone and brown sugar taste is resinous and sticky, light malt backbone and a touch of table sugar w/ frosted flakes.

Hazy orange. Smells like acid and chloroform. with with peach juice. Taste is not as good as the nose. some shoe polish, cabbage and tart lemon juice.

blood red pink. Smells like a fruit bomb. lots of cherry, strawberry, hay straw. Tart, sour and refreshing. some sweetness at the start, little at the finish. Very fruity…girly.

burnt orange appearance. Minimal aroma. not a lot going on. Cream and some rhubarb acidity, sticky toothpaste weirdness with a lot of birch wood and some tobacco.

Draft @ Vermont Pub 16 March 2014. Clear golden color with light head retention. Aroma is sweet malt and herbal hops.

Flavor is mostly sweet malt with hints of pine and weak citrus notes. Also has a medicinal flavor in the backend. Laboratory grow Chinook hops?? Body is light and texture is on the watery side. No bitterness to speak of. I never would have guessed that this was displaying any type of hop variety. It’s more like a sweet APA. Not sure if the hop has anything to do with this lack luster brew.

From the brew pub. Again low light would suggest an amber color, thin small head. Aroma of light rye and caramel malt. Light body nice prickly carbonation over my tongue. The flavor is European malts and lager yeast. Really well made for the style. Good everyday style. Easy to drink.

Draft @ the pub. Dim lighting, looks like a red type color, thin ring of head. Aroma of tart cherries, yeast and vinegar. Yep... Tastes just like the aroma. And really too much vinegar. Acidic and harsh puckering in the back of the of the taste buds. Huge amount of tart cherries with just a tad bit much vinegar. Sour head should like the pucker. Not really my bag... I keep trying the sours and my option is the same. Meh

Very nice, well-carbonated pour shows a amber-auburn body with plentiful beige head and lots of carbonation.
Extreme acetic acid in the nose with vanilla and light alcohol notes. Buttercream is very light in the background and the vinousness continues to build up.
It’s funny, when I first had this, the first couple sips are pure bliss. Sour, acetic, flemish-like flavors are beautifully stretched over the palate, but as it warms and grows on the palate, vinegar and balsam build up and plentiful diacetyl makes itself known. If they could just keep the acetic sourness and pleasant maltiness, and the breadiness and diacetyl didnt bulid up, this would be world class. As is, it’s still very drinkable and enjoyable.
